this is definitely not one of the best arcs of all time, but my all-time favorite arc for any anime or manga is the grand magic games arc in fairy tail. something about watching the group fight their way back up to the top of magic was just so satisfying to watch. i also really like the greed island arc in hxh. i know it's got pretty low stakes but i like getting to watch killua and gon just kinda hang around for a while.

• Eden: It's and Endless World, First Arc
• Guyver, Mount Minakami
Special mention to Gantz, which certainly has its (many) flaws, but hell was it entertaining. Almost every arc had something cool going on.

Other than those, I enjoyed most series as a whole, and can't think of any specific arcs that stuck out like these did. The leadup from impel down to marineford was the first time my mind was legitimately blown by a series. And, the chainsawman thing was the funniest chapter I've ever read out of any series.

I get slightly salted when people say chainsaw man isn't good, because it does more unique things in just 90 or so chapters than most series will ever do in their entire run. So, for instance, I don't think I've personally seen or been as affected by a mass incident like the gun devil chapters. The build up, to the calamity, to the tragedy--in such a short amount of time to boot, was unreal, and still felt potent during my second readthrough.
