It's full-time in Notre Dame and Celtic have dished out a holy thrashing to Chelsea this evening, with goals from O'Riley, Kyogo, Palma and Mikey Johnston enough to seal the deal in this final pre-season prep match, with Christopher Nkunku's late penalty nothing more than a consolation.

Nkunku steps up and sends Sinisalo the wrong way. Goal for Chelsea, but far too late to have any real bearing on the scoreline.

Celtic sub Donovan is beaten by Sterling and has a nibble, which sends the England winger tumbling.

Celtic denied a fifth

Celtic are denied a fifth as substitute Turley's deflected effort is kept out by sub keeper Bergstrom in the Chelsea goal.

Free-kick for Chelsea

There's a bit of respite for Chelsea as they win a free-kick after a foul on Nkunku by Welsh.

Celtic go close

Celtic are nearly in again as they break down the left, but Palma's ball across is cut out before reaching his intended man for another tap-in.

This has turned into a rout, with a pair of four-goal hauls on the bounce against top Premier League opposition.

It's a rout now for Celtic as Luis Palma plays a simple ball in behind for substitute Mikey Johnston to run onto and finish low past Sanchez.

Dreamland for Celtic.

That should seal it as Celtic add a third through Luis Palma.

It's some slack passing at the back from Chelsea as they go across the box and the Honduran is there to pounce on it.

Three and easy for Celtic in the perfect build-up for the big kick-off.

Second drinks break

The players are breaking for fluids once more with 19 minutes to go. Celtic are still in command on the scoreboard, but Chelsea have edged the second half in terms of chances.

Still 2-0 Celtic as Sinisalo is on for Kasper Schmeichel.

Chelsea survive

Sanchez gets his bearings all wrong now as Yang gets to the ball ahead of the Chelsea keeper, but the Korean winger's on the stretch to get there and his touch takes it just too wide and the Blues defence get back in their numbers while their keeper gets back in his box.

Chelsea corner

Guiu out-muscles Hatate on the ball and plays in Madueke, but Anderson is across well to deflect it behind for a corner, which again comes to nothing for Chelsea.

Double sub

Celtic make a double change as Anderson and Yang replace Taylor and Forrest.

Acrobatic Sanchez

Robert Sanchez has come charging out of his Chelsea goal to meet a Celtic long ball and acrobatically gets there in front of Kyogo to clear.

His starting position was about 30 yards from his line.

Celtic crowding out

Chelsea are attacking again, but Celtic have got the numbers back and are able to crowd out Nkunku before he can get a meaningful shot away.

Great defending there from Celtic and it remains 2-0.

Chelsea counter

Sterling gets in down the left, but he can't find the telling final ball, with his cross overhit for Madueke as he raced in at the back post.

Header blocked

Celtic have another chance for a third there as Palma gets forward down the left, but delays his pass to Taylor somewhat. The cross from the left-back reaches O'Riley beyond the back post but the Dane gets his header away, blocked by Colwill.

Composure lacking

Chelsea have overcooked their switches of play more often than not in midfield, with the ball sailing over the intended target on a number of occasions.

It's been a different story for Celtic, with far fewer lapses in possession and that's the difference between the two sides at the moment.

It's Welsh for Carter-Vickers as Brendan Rodgers makes a defensive switch.

Corner for Chelsea

Tosin looks to have overhit his long ball down the line for Madueke, but he's able to stop it right on the byline, before he forces Greg Taylor into putting it behind for a corner.

From the resulting set-piece, Nkunku's overhead kick is over the bar.

Sterling denied

It's another chance for Chelsea as Sterling's initial shot is blocked, but the rebound falls back to him and his second effort is well kept out by Schmeichel, with the rebound hitting off Guiu and going just wide.

It's been a good start to the second half for Chelsea, but it remains 2-0 Celtic.

Madueke fires wide

Chelsea work themselves another opening through Sterling as the winger races down the left and his cut-back finds Madueke, but the former PSV man screws his shot wide of the mark.

Still 2-0.

POST: Chelsea

Chelsea are denied in the opening minute of the second half as Schmeichel keeps out Guiu's shot, before Sterling cracks the upright with a well-placed effort.

Celtic clear it eventually and it remains 2-0.

Second half kicks off

We're back under way in Notre Dame, as Celtic kick off with a comfortable 2-0 lead. Can they build on this, or will Chelsea come back into the contest?

Sterling in for 2nd half

Raheem Sterling is stripped for Chelsea and will take to the field for the second half in Notre Dame, alongside a host of subs, including Lesley Ugochukwu and Tosin Adaribayo.

It's half-time in Notre Dame Stadium and Celtic have a 2-0 lead at the break after goals from O'Riley and Kyogo. There have been some top saves from both keepers in this hard-fought contest, but Celtic deserve their lead here.

Schmeichel in action again

Madueke does well again down the right and finds Chukwuemeka in the box, but Schmeichel stays big and gets a right arm on it to keep it out.

Is he looking like the signing of the summer already?

Palma goes close

Palma is straight into the action after some slackness from Chelsea springs the Celtic counter, but the Honduran's effort from distance is an easy one for Sanchez to claim.

Maeda knock

It's the last thing Celtic need is another injury to a wide man after Kuhn's knock in the City game. Fans will be hoping that it's just a precaution and nothing serious.
