This is a show that has captivated fans since the original Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous series, which ran for a solid five seasons and a total of forty-nine episodes (plus one special) on Netflix, concluding back in 2022. Now, the follow-up series, Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, is gearing up for its ninth and final season, with the premiere date set for November 20th.
The original series, Camp Cretaceous, introduced us to Darius Bowman, a dinosaur enthusiast who gets the amazing opportunity to visit Camp Cretaceous, an exclusive adventure camp on Isla Nublar. There, he meets five other teenagers: Ben, Yaz, Brooklynn, Kenji, and Sammy. They are all chosen for the experience of a lifetime. But when the dinosaurs escape, the campers are stranded, forced to survive on the island, hoping to find a way out.
Chaos Theory picks up the story six years later, after the park has closed and the kingdom has fallen. A new era of chaos begins, with the members of "The Nublar Six" struggling to adapt to a world where dinosaurs and those who want to harm them now exist. After a tragedy, the group reunites, only to find themselves on the run, thrust into a global adventure to uncover a conspiracy that threatens both dinosaurs and humanity. They must also learn the truth about what happened to one of their own.
The show is brought to life by showrunners Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley, with executive producers like Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall. DreamWorks Animation is the animation studio, and the series is produced by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment. Zesung Kang is the supervising producer. The voice cast features Sean Giambrone, Kausar Mohammed, Paul-Mikél Williams, Kiersten Kelly, Darren Barnet, and Raini Rodriguez.
