Summary
- Natlan's full map has been leaked, showcasing the region's upcoming release in Genshin Impact 5.0.
- The leak suggests that Natlan's map will expand gradually over subsequent patches beyond Version 5.2.
- The leak highlights potential changes to the easternmost section of Sumeru to accommodate Natlan's expansion.
The full size of Natlan’s map has been showcased in a new Genshin Impact leak ahead of the Nation’s official reveal and release. Natlan is the Nation of Pyro and the next destination on the Traveler’s journey through Teyvat. The arrival of the region will occur with Version 5.0, which will also bring forth a plethora of new story quests, gameplay mechanics, and, Natlan characters in Genshin Impact. Natlan will not be released fully in Version 5.0, however, and the region will expand over time with the subsequent patches.
However, it seems like the full extent of the Nation of Pyro has already leaked. According to information provided by the leaker known as UTeyvat, which was shared in a post tagged as “Sus” on Reddit, the full scale of the Natlan map from Version 5.0 to Version 5.2 is already known. In the picture, the leaker highlights the Natlan map with green, showcasing what will be introduced across the next three patches. The portion with added texture under the green highlight is referent to the map area added in Genshin Impact 5.0, as seen in previous leaks.

Natlan’s Full Map Is Leaked Ahead Of Genshin Impact 5.0
The Map May Expand Even Further
Considering the leak may be true, it seems like the initial Natlan map will be around the size of the jungle portion of Sumeru, albeit a bit smaller. However, over the next few patches, it may expand to match the size of the Nation of Dendro. At this moment, it is uncertain how many layered portions Natlan and how much that can expand the overall map size, especially when compared to other Nations. However, the leak does suggest a massive expansion for Natlan in Genshin Impact’s Version 5.1 and 5.2.
"As the leak only predicts the map until Version 5.2, it is quite probable Natlan will grow in future updates."
The leak also uses red to highlight a smaller portion of the map, showcasing that the easternmost section of Sumeru will be modified, perhaps to accommodate Natlan and provide a better view of the Nation of Pyro – and access to the area. These border-related changes are quite common with every major Nation or area release and they shouldn’t be too drastic.
In addition to what is being shown in the new Genshin Impact Natlan map leak, it is quite possible that Natlan will expand even more. While the main portions should be introduced from Version 5.0 through Version 5.2, as a means to keep up with the main campaign quests, it is common for Nations to grow even further over time, unrelated to the main story bits. Fontaine, for instance, gained the island of Petrichor with Version 4.6, well beyond the conclusion of the Archon quests related to the Nation.
The leak should be taken with a grain of salt since it is highly subject to change and can be completely wrong – in addition, this is a prediction from the leaker, as demonstrated by how blocked the zones are, whereas the map will likely have a different shape. Players do not have to wait too long before they get to see the first section of Natlan, which will be presented during the Genshin Impact 5.0 livestream later this week.
