Tony Muskett - Loses out in QB battle Muskett has lost Virginia's quarterback battle to Anthony Colandrea, Jacquie Franciulli of 247Sports.com reports.Impact Muskett transferred to Virginia for the 2023 season after three productive years at FCS Monmouth. However, he struggled with consistency last fall, tossing for 1,031 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions while completing 63 percent of his passes. It's a tough outcome for Muskett to lose a quarterback battle to a much younger player in his final year of eligibility, but he figures to be Virginia's backup moving forward. AUGUST 24 • ROTOWIRE Anthony Colandrea - Named starting quarterback Colandrea has been named Virginia's starting quarterback, per Jacquie Franciulli of 247Sports.com.Impact Colandrea enters year two of his career with Virginia after tossing for 1,958 yards, 13 touchdowns and eight interceptions on 62.6 percent completion as a true freshman.
